Is it spring yet? I’m still wearing mostly sweaters these days, with the occasional dress and leggings or blouse/blazer combo tossed in. Sharing another one of my favorite pullover sweaters from Pendleton today! (also check out my previous review of a different Pendleton style).
The sweater I’m wearing is 70 percent silk, 30 percent cotton, and makes me feel very glamorous! I love that it’s made in quality, timeless materials - this is a versatile piece that won't go out of style. I like wearing it with skinny jeans and boots, but you could tuck it into a high waisted pencil skirt or black trousers for a more upscale look.
The petite size works great for me - the fit leaves enough room for layering underneath (I add a long sleeve merino tee underneath for extra cold days), and the rib knit style means it still follows my shape overall. No being swallowed up by a baggy sweater just to stay warm!
I really enjoy the streamlined look of a solid color in a pretty jewel tone, and Pendleton delivers a variety of options in their petite sized sweaters. Try the round neck version of my sweater in red, the merino turtleneck in fern green, or this cowl neck sweater in baltic blue. When the spring weather rolls in to stay, this short sleeve ribbed crewneck in aqua green or vintage indigo might be nice!
